The Journal, Queen’s University - Senior News Editor

  • Managed a team of assistant news editors, staff writers, and contributors to ensure smooth publications two times per week

  • Investigated and researched stories on sexual assault and violence policies, climate action divestment, and social issues on campus by filling FOIs, and publishing breaking news

The Kingston Whig-Standard - Reporting Intern

  • Worked remotely and reported on local news pertaining to Kingston and stories relating to COVID-19 provincial policies  

  • Accompanied senior reporters into the fields to observe and provide assistance in conducting interviews and research

  • Covered extensively on Indigenous stories and the lead up to the removal of Sir John A. Macdonald statue in Kingston

Queen’s Quarterly - Editorial Intern

  • Collaborated with the editor-in-chiefs and assisted in editing, commenting, and suggesting ways to improve the submissions

  • Managed QQ’s online presence such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter and garnered more than 100 followers in the first month

  • Established and managed Queen’s Quarterly on Rewind podcast in May 2021, including interviews with notable authors
